At 17 feet long, this unit sleeps 3 people, with an optional fourth sleeping position, and fits inside a standard two-car garage with the roof closed.

The R1723 opens up at camp with an electric retractable roof that raises the interior ceiling to 6 ft 10 in and floods the space with light through black tinted tempered glass side panels. The rear 60 x 76 inch bed area converts from a lounge, while the front dinette converts to a 36 x 81 inch single bed. The portable front table configures into two separate dining areas and the front dining area remains usable when the rear bed is deployed.

The kitchenette runs a two-burner flush-mounted LPG stove, 4.3 cu. ft. 12V compressor fridge, European stainless steel sink, and pull-out shelves. The bathroom compartment includes an indoor shower with curtain, flush toilet with black water tank, toilet wash-down sprayer, and outdoor hand shower.

The Truma Combi system handles both heating and hot water on LPG or electric. Two self-heating lithium batteries totalling 260 A/h, a 45-amp converter/charger, four USB outlets, and probeless tank monitors round out a thoughtfully built electrical system. The optional Truma Caravan Mover adds electric motors at each wheel with a tongue jack attachment, allowing you to position the trailer by remote control without a tow vehicle.
