Stones RV Mobile Service was officially launched in 2008 as a result of feedback from our many clients throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. This feedback along with the ever expanding market of parked trailers pointed to a real need to create a dedicated position of “Mobile Technician”.
When asked about this new addition to our Dealership, Kim Stones says … “I found that a technician 1 to 2 days a week on the road was no longer enough to satisfy the needs of our valued clients. And, I also recognized the majority of our customers use their trailers during the short summer months, having to bring their RV’s to us OR to wait for 3 weeks or more to get an appointment, just didn't or doesn't make sense! Thus the reason to take the lead and offer a service unique to the RV Industry – A Fully Dedicated Mobile Technician Equipped with a Service Truck and Wide Array of Parts whose primary aim is the serve the needs and wants of our loyal and dedicated customers.”
In April of 2008, we launched our new service and promoted a long time and experienced technician – Joey Morrison to the position of “Mobile Technician”. Since then, Stones RV have experienced significant improvements in our mobile service receiving numerous accolades from clients throughout Nova Scotia. We still have our challenges but we have come a long way from where we were in 2007 and earlier, says Kim.

Meet … Joey Morrison – Mobile Service Technician
Joey is a highly trained and experienced field technician with over 10 years of RV and RV-related experience. Joey is well rounded in a variety of repairs and services and is our 1st point of contact for many of our clients as he comes to their home or campground to perform the necessary repairs.

We are actually factory certified in most service areas and does the warranty work also! We perform a full range of mobile RV services and repairs, including:

Appliances: Repair and/or replacement of all appliances.
Electrical: Troubleshoot & repair electrical problems you may have.
Extended Warranty Repairs: Do you have extended warranty? No problem, give us a call and we will repair and bill the extended warranty company directly!
Flooring: Remove and replace carpet, linoleum, laminate, hardwood and ceramic tile flooring.
General Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair problems you may encounter with your unit.
Insurance Claims: Let us deal directly with your insurance company; we will even direct bill them!
Parts and Accessories: Complete line of parts and accessories just like your local dealership.
Plumbing: Repair small leaks to replacement of complete plumbing system.
Propane: Find and repair leaks - complete propane line replacement.
Tin Siding: Repair sectional to complete replacement due to various damages.
Other Services: Winterization; spring startup; rubber roof treatments; slide seal maintenance; seal-tech testing; etc.
PAYMENTS:
All payments are due in full upon completion of repairs. We accept Visa, Master Card, and of course, green backs!
We process the paperwork for all repairs done under warranty. The customer is responsible for any charges not covered under warranty; for example, deductible, service call, freight charges, shop supplies, etc.
RATES:
Our labor rate is $100 per hour (1 hour minimum). Our time begins when we arrive and ends when the job is finished. Our On-Site charges are as follows and are in addition to the labor charges:
- $25 = 10* miles or less
- $50 = 11* miles to 35* miles
- Add $2 for each mile after 35*

Please call our office to schedule an appointment. Office Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Most appointments are scheduled within 10 business days from the date you call!
